Social transformation

This entails inclusive training on social entrepreneurship. The training is aimed at developing knowledge, skills and attitude that empowers the trainees to identify problems in their communities and develop innovative solutions to the problems. Capacity building also entails empowering the people to develop social businesses as a response to social problems.

Through its work, CASE has developed the following core competences:

  1. Empowerment and growth of social entrepreneurs through imparting
    social entrepreneurship knowledge, skills and attitude.
  2. Seeking and expansion of grassroot innovations in the communities by
    assisting people to embrace challenges as opportunities for social
    businesses.
  3. Resource mobilization through partnership with donors, the church and
    angel investors among other sources.
  4. Identification of social problems and development of social
    innovations to bring positive change to communities.

The main goal of CASE is social transformation. To achieve this goal, CASE uses three interconnected paths; capacity building, growth of grassroots innovations and provision of seed capital.

CASE assists individuals and groups in identifying the potential to find innovative solutions to their problems and supports them in expanding these innovations into sustainable social businesses.

CASE mobilizes resources from financial partners to assist the trainees in implementing their innovative ideas.
